1989 – Wayne Halstrom diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea

1993 – Patents Granted for The Silencer

1996 – First research on The Silencer published

2003 – Wayne Halstrom elected President, British Columbia Dental Association

2005 – 10,000 Patients Treated

2006 – Wayne Halstrom elected President, Canadian Dental Association

2009 – Dr. Halstrom Sleep Apnea & Snoring Clinics expand in British Columbia

2009 – Wayne Halstrom appointed as an Adjunct Professor of Respiratory Therapy, Faculty of Science – Sleep Program, Thompson Rivers University

2010 – New flagship Vancouver Clinic opens in August, along with the Vancouver Institute of Sleep Medicine
